Effective date: May 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Appealty (“Appealty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on appealty.com and the application at app.appealty.com (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site’s operators. Similar technologies include browser localStorage and sessionStorage, web beacons, and pixel tags. In this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies.”
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Service to function. They are used for authentication (keeping you signed in), security (preventing cross-site request forgery), and load balancing. The Service will not work properly without them. Examples include:
- Session cookies that keep you signed in to your account.
- CSRF protection tokens.
Functional
These cookies remember choices you make to provide a more personalized experience, such as remembering you have dismissed a banner or selected a particular view setting.
Performance and analytics
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service so we can debug issues and improve the product. They collect aggregated information such as which pages are most visited and what errors occur. They do not identify you personally.
Marketing
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, request your consent.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some pages of the Service load resources from third parties (for example, Google Fonts for typography). Those third parties may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control third-party cookies and recommend that you review the relevant third party’s policy.
4. How to Manage Cookies
Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings. The location varies by browser; common starting points are:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from working. Blocking other cookie categories may affect your experience but will not break core functionality.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and the Service does not currently respond to them. You can manage cookies through your browser settings as described above.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when it was last revised.
7. Contact
